卡爸（9）

七十多歲的卡爸，15歲從大陸來港闖世界。他說英文只讀到小學六年級，及後趁工餘時間讀英文，每天45分鐘教簡單英語會話，就這樣進修自學英文。

我細個時，卡爸叫我學好英文，因為「英文好才搵到食」。卡爸知道學好英文的重要性。他退休後，除了寫毛筆字，也寫英文，手英文字好清秀呀，我就寫唔出啦。

卡爸話自己英文程度唔高，文法會錯，寫出嚟大家笑吓算啦。大家俾吓意見啦，計我話：已經好過某些中五學生了。

有時回家吃飯，卡爸會問我一些英文不明白的地方。見卡爸咁好學，终身學習。某年我送了一本英漢電子字典給他，還使用到現在。

卡爸繼續努力呀，遲啲論文都寫到。
